Use this tool to change frequency of music without changing the playback speed. This tool is useful for music training, transcription, instrument learning (piano, guitar, flute, etc.), or just for fun. If you are logged in you can opt-in to get notified by email once the conversion is finished.

Source file

You can either enter a remote URL (e.g. a location where the source file is located) or a local file from your device. If both, an URL and a local file are selected then one of them is ignored.

Options

The source and target frequency are both with respect to the standard A (usually 440 Hertz). Please use the Audio Frequency Converter app for non-standard frequencies.

Two different algorithms are provided - a time-based and a frequency-based (FFT). Generally Algorithm 1 yields better results, but depending on the input music also Algorithm 2 can sound better.
