Options

Most music is recorded at the standard 440 Hz — only change this if your file was tuned to a different pitch.

Note: You can use the free online Music Frequency Changer if you want to convert your music to non-standard frequencies.

Two different algorithms are provided - a time-based and a frequency-based (FFT). Generally Algorithm 1 yields better results, but depending on the input music also Algorithm 2 can sound better.

What is 432Hz tuning?

Pitch standards are defined by the frequency of the reference note A above middle C (A4). Modern music almost always uses A4 = 440Hz. “432Hz tuning” instead sets A4 to 432Hz, which lowers the overall pitch of a track by about 32 cents — a little under a third of a semitone.

432Hz vs 440Hz

The only difference is this small downward shift in pitch; the speed and length of the song stay exactly the same. Many listeners describe 432Hz versions as sounding slightly warmer or more relaxed, but this is a matter of personal preference — there is no scientific evidence that 432Hz audio has measurable effects beyond the change in pitch.

How the conversion works

The tool resamples your audio to shift the pitch to 432Hz without altering the tempo, then encodes the result in your chosen format. It accepts common audio files and can also extract and re-tune the audio from video files. If you need a different target frequency, use the Music Frequency Changer instead.

Frequently asked questions

What does the 432Hz converter do?

It re-tunes your audio from the standard 440Hz pitch to 432Hz, lowering the pitch slightly while keeping the tempo and quality unchanged.

Does 432Hz music have health benefits?

Claims about health or wellbeing benefits are anecdotal and not supported by scientific evidence. The tool simply changes the pitch of the audio; any preference for 432Hz is subjective.

Will it change the tempo or speed?

No. Only the pitch is shifted to 432Hz; the song plays at its original speed and length.

Which formats are supported?

You can convert common audio formats and extract audio from video, and download the result as MP3, WAV or M4A.

Is it free?

Yes. The 432Hz converter is completely free and requires no account or software.
